You’d have to be living under a rock (or else be extremely good at avoiding spoilers) not to know that this week marks the long-overdue debut performance of a Spice Girls song on Glee. That’s right, in this week’s ep, “Guilty Pleasures” Unique (Alex Newell), Marley (Melissa Benoist), Kitty (Becca Tobin), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Brittany (Heather Morris) will be bringing the girl power to the Spice Girls’ worldwide hit, ‘Wannabe’.
To mark the occasion, Baby Spice herself, Emma Bunton, travelled to the set earlier this year to film a behind-the-scenes look at the show for the UK’s Sky1, I Heart Glee. While this documentary aired on March 10, there are more goodies in store for fans. This morning on her breakfast radio program, Emma Bunton gave an exclusive UK first play of the ‘Wannabe’ cover (listen here) but also announced that she would be talking about the song and her meet and greet with the cast during her weekend program.
