We’re almost at the stage of announcing who won’t be in the third season of Ryan Murphy’s hit, American Horror Story. With a bevy of outstanding talent already lined up, it appears that Emma Roberts (Valentine’s Day, Scream 4) is the latest to join the Coven.
TVLine is reporting that Roberts will be playing a self-involved party girl named Madison. The news comes following the May 8 announcement that Fox would not be picking up her latest pilot, Delirium. There has been no official word on Roberts casting from either the network or Ryan Murphy, but it seems like it might be wise to keep checking Murphy’s Twitter account for confirmation sometime soon.
Already confirmed for a journey to New Orleans are AHS regulars, Evan Peters (Roberts’ boyfriend), Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and Taissa Farmiga. The season three fresh blood so far comes in the form of Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone and Gabourey Sidibe.
American Horror Story: Coven is set to return to FX in the autumn.
