Magic in the Moonlight hasn't even been released yet, and Woody Allen has already enlisted Emma Stone for a role in his next film. Does this mean Woody has found his newest muse in the adorably quirky Emma Stone?
A week ago, Joaquin Phoenix was confirmed as part of the cast of the currently untitled project by Woody Allen in the pair's first ever collaboration. Now Emma Stone, who stars in Allen's 2014 film Magic in the Moonlight, has also jumped on board the mystery project.
Both Phoenix and Stone have big things planned for this year: he is starring in the prestige project Inherent Vice by the brilliantly talented Paul Thomas Anderson ( this is their second collaboration after he nabbed a Best Actor nomination for the highly divisive but critically acclaimed The Master) and The Immigrant, his fourth collaboration with James Gray.
Stone has four films planned for this year alone: the currently showing The Amazing Spiderman 2, a comedy entitled Birdman, an untitled film by Cameron Crowe, and of course Magic in the Moonlight.
The untitled Woody Allen film is set to start filming in July.
