From broomsticks to bipolar: Harry Potter actress, Emma Watson will soon appear on screen as a mentally ill novelist. The film in question will be titled, Your Voice In My Head and is being directed by the little known filmmaker, Francesca Gregorini (Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes).
Based on the book of the same name, Your Voice In My Head is a 2012 memoir written by Emma Forrest about her traumatic experience with bipolar disorder, and her relationship with the doctor she claims saved her life.
Filming begins in November and we are super excited to see what becomes of it!
The delightful young Watson has appeared in an eclectic slew of films since finishing Potter, including This Is the End, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, My Week With Marilyn and The Bling Ring.
We can also look forward to seeing her as Ila in Darren Aronofsky’s biblical blockbuster, Noah, due in cinemas March 28 next year, and in Guillermo Del Toro’s intriguing re-imagining of Beauty and the Beast, slated for a 2014 release as well.
Which movie are you more excited to check out? We can’t wait to see some trailers.
