A new body swap story is in the works. While We’re Young follows a 75-year-old woman who has a close relationship to her 29-year-old granddaughter. Somehow, with a birthday wish, this grandmother is given a chance to become 29 again. Through the movie viewers will be swept up into a whirlwind adventure that will surely be full of passion and fun. Yes, this movie sounds like Freaky Friday, 17 Again and the countless other body swapping films that are out there. How will writers Michael H. Weber and Scott Neustadter, and director Stephen Chbosky make this movie stand out among the rest of the flicks? At this moment, it’s unclear. There isn’t even word about who’s playing who in this film. However, we do know that Emma Watson will be reuniting with Chbosky (she starred in his film adaption of The Perks of Being a Wallflower). One interesting point mentioned in a recent article is this film, “[is] a departure for Chbosky.” The reasoning behind the statement is quite unclear. Is it because this is a story focusing on three generations of women? Is it because the story is about the old re-exploring youth? Perhaps it’s all of the above! Will it be any good? Or will this movie fall to the wayside as so many other stories in this genre do? It’s really up in the air. With careful casting and well-written dialogue anything is possible! Stephen Chbosky did create a fine adaptation of the Broadway musical RENT, so there is promise and hope for While We’re Young. In the meantime, Emma Watson is finishing up a plethora of films. She is set to star in Darren Aronofsky’s Noah and Guillermo del Toro’s Beauty and the Beast as well as Queen Of The Tearling (which she will also executive produce). That girl is busy! http://www.Twitter.com/PopWrapped http://www.PopWrapped.Tumblr.com/ http://www.SoundCloud.com/PopWrapped http://www.Facebook.com/PopWrapped http://www.Instagram.com/PopWrapped http://www.Pinterest.com/PopWrapped
