A much anticipated movie poster has just been released, and the central image is green, gigantic, and terrifying. Nope, it’s not the Hulk we’re talking about, the monster this time is the mammoth, mossy, labyrinth walls of The Maze Runner.
The Maze Runner is based on the 2009 book of the same name, the first of a trilogy of popular dark Sci-Fi adventure novels for young adults.
Will the Maze Runner follow The Hunger Games into book-to-film success, or will it fail to connect with moviegoers like 2013’s box-office flop adaptation of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones? Only time will tell, but it looks like the filmmakers are definitely teasing a movie with massive scope and scale.
