As the seconds tick down to the May 5th premiere  of 24: Live Another Day (just over 3 million of them left)FOX is upping the ante by releasing another 60 second sneak-peek at the return of Jack Bauer and company. As we 24 fans know, the last time we saw Jack Bauer he was in trouble not only with his home country of the United States, but also the Russian government; meaning he's on the run and a fugitive that's been off the grid for four years at the beginning of Live Another Day. Of course he turns up in London at the same time as US President James Heller (fellow 24 returnee William Devane) is making a state visit to the country. In true Jack Bauer fashion, it doesn't seem to take Jack long to uncover a plot to assassinate the President on foreign soil, which is sure to start World War III. Not only that, it seems that those responsible for the assassination plot are planning a full out terrorist attack which will threaten the world. [embed][/embed] It seems like newbies CIA Agent Kate Morgan (Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski) and Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau (Damages' Tate Donovan) have been filled in on the history of Jack Bauer and along with CIA higher-up Steve Navarro (Benjamin Bratt), will stop at nothing to stop the 'unpredictable' Bauer. Lucky for Jack, it seems that fan favorite Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub), computer hacker extraordinaire, has been going through the ringer herself and has turned her back on the government she used to serve. Plus, she's got a kick-ass new look to go with her new attitude.

On the inside she's still the same Chloe, offering Jack the advice, "If you stop the attacks, all will be forgiven." But Jack knows better, responding, "No going back for me." Only thing missing from this trailer? Stephen Fry as the British Prime Minister. But if they're holding out on that until the show airs May 5th, I'm totally okay with that, because we all know it's going to be awesome. Catch 24: Live Another Day when it airs its 2 hour premiere on Monday May 5th at 8PM EST on FOX! Then make sure you tune in the following 10 Mondays at 9pm EST to see if Jack Bauer will be able to save the world again while the US government tries to hunt him down!
