The news comes as a shock to everyone as it has been stated by her roommate that Davis was a very healthy 88 year old. TMZ is reporting, that Davis slipped and fell in her bathroom this morning, unfortunately never regaining consciousness.

Davis played the beloved Alice Nelson on The Brady Bunch from 1969 to 1974 and then reprised the role in countless Brady spin-offs, specials and reunions right up until The Bradys in 1990.

Before joining the family that would make her a household name, Ann B. Davis was nominated for four Emmies (winning two) for her role as Charmaine ‘Schultzy’ Schultz on The Bob Cummings Show. By 1960 Davis also had her own star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Members of the Texas church Davis was a member of are making the arrangements for her funeral.
