Everything But The Everything Shares “In Love…Again”

“We talked about collaborating for a while and after tracking ideas and files back and forth, we found the perfect track…”

Everything But The Everything – AKA Izzy The Gent – is known for creating energetic tracks with a new wave touch, including layers of synths, driving bass and new wave influenced vocals. Each song Izzy releases features different vocal contributors, and so far he’s partnered up with the likes Tobias Hawkins (Counting Crows), Olivia Barchard (Venus In Arms) and Sophia Prise among others.

On his latest track “In Love…Again”, he teams up with fellow songwriter Golden Plates – AKA Elder Brycen – to deliver a driving single with post punk energy and atmospheric vibes that will get stuck in your head. Golden Plates tops the track with his distinct baritone voice and a modern, yet familiar tone that has won over fans in his native San Diego and beyond.

Asked how this collaboration came to be, Izzy shares: “Elder Brycen was a fan of my latest release and we ended up connecting on Instagram, and of course after hearing his music I was hooked as well. We talked about collaborating for a while and after tracking ideas and files back and forth, we found the perfect track and we are now excited to share this single with you. We really worked on finding the balance between some of my bright and strummy ideas vs many of his dark and driving tracks, and this was the perfect fit for both of us.”
