The hysterical Vicki Lawrence tries her hand at vacuum sales in this exclusive throwback clip from The Carol Burnett Show!

Iconic actress and comedian Carol Burnett made history with her massively popular TV variety show, The Carol Burnett Show. Premiering on CBS in 1967, the show became an almost instant fan favorite. Burnett's quick wit and comedic timing helped the show collect 25 Emmy Awards and eight Golden Globes in its eleven years of circulation. The show has since been listed amongst the "100 Best Television Shows of all Time" by TIME Magazine, and its legacy lives on today.

The show was so popular that Burnett teamed up with Time Life to make some of the most beloved moments available to fans on YouTube. Since bringing The Carol Burnett Show back to life on YouTube, fans have been able to appreciate high quality footage in a readily available format!

The YouTube page has brought the show into a new age, where the jokes are just as funny and Burnett and her pals are just as endearing...

The latest scene to emerge from the show's vaults is a short entitled "Vacuum Salesman" that sees Burnett's best friend Vicki Lawrence dealing with an emotionally fraught vacuum salesman. In the scene, Lawrence is fastidiously tidying up her (already pristine) house before being interrupted by Mr. Willard (Tim Conway), the vacuum specialist. Getting her attention with a handy free gift, Mr. Willard does his best to sell her the brand new Davis 500.

When his pitch goes slightly awry, Lawrence, who is in the market for a new vacuum, takes over. Sitting him down on her sofa, Vicki proceeds to test the vacuum out before making any decisions.

Watch the hilarity ensue and take a trip down memory lane with our exclusive first peek at the footage below!

After watching the clip above, it is hugely evident that Vicki Lawrence is as kind-hearted as she is laugh-out-loud funny, just like her bestie Carol!
