With so much hostility and negativity in the world, Kat Solar, or to give her her proper name, Katrina Connor, is on a mission to inject some positivity and fun into life.
Born in Detroit, Kat grew up listening to rock and roll, classic soul and Motown, thanks in large part to her parents’ varied taste in music. She went on to perform in the dramatic arts, enabling her to perfect her style both musically and visually.
With her debut album Snake Eyes, which was released in 2012, earning her praise from the likes of OUT and The Advocate, PopWrapped is delighted to premiere the acoustic video for her latest single “Infinity”, the lead track taken from her new album of the same name. “Infinity” demonstrates Kat’s impressive vocal and musical talents; the video is simplistic, almost documentary-like, ensuring that the viewers’ attention remains, as it should, focused on her.
