Exclusive: Matt Lande Premieres New Single “Spin” With PopWrapped

As Matt Lande prepares to release his new album “Glow” on December 1, PopWrapped is delighted to premiere his latest single “Spin”.

Growing up in a small Florida town, Matt Lande always yearned for excitement and adventure. After a brief stint with Storyside: B who had some success in the Christian music charts, even getting to support the likes of Paramore on tour, he eventually set out on his own and since then, he hasn’t looked back.

However, it hasn’t been the easiest of journeys for Lande, and such struggles often come through in his music. Signing an indie deal in 2010 saw him release the Stories From Yesterday LP under the band name Heaven Is Where, but it wasn’t until he switched things up and began to release music under his own name that things really started picking up – 2012 saw him release an LP and an EP, which saw him get noticed by a much larger audience.

During his time in the studio, Lande has also had background acting roles on shows including Grimm, The Librarians, and Significant Mother, but he’s always held firm to his belief that music is his ultimate passion.

Now, after losing two close friends to cancer last year, Lande is back with a new album Glow, to be released on December 1, and PopWrapped is delighted to premiere the lead single, “Spin.”

The track is emotive and melodic, perfect for fans of chart-friendly, fun music, but at the same time, there’s an underlying rawness, delivered notably through Lande’s smooth vocals. That means this offering is that little bit different from the usual radio-play ditties so many of us find ourselves listening to on a regular basis.

After giving “Spin” a listen, be sure to follow Lande on Facebook and Twitter and keep up to date with him and his music by visiting his website.
