Having already sold out Irving Plaza and played a series of shows across the New York City area, Push Phonic, consisting of Creighton Fraker, who first caught the public's attention while performing on season 11 of American Idol, Kendall Lantz and twins Lyon and Gabriel Orpaz, are thinking bigger and planning for better things in the months to come.
Following on from the release of their EP last month, the band have now released their second single from the collection titled "I'm So Pretty" and PopWrapped are delighted to premiere its video which features many of the groups' fans.
Asked about how the video was created, they explain:
Our vision for this band has always been to bring joy to our fans and to everything we do as a band. We consider ourselves a "do it yourself" operation. Everything you see in this video we put together ourselves. It's really important to us that the fans be a part of the process. It's a crazy story really. We sent out an invitation on social media to our fans that we were making this music video, inviting them to be a part of it. We weren't even sure if anyone was going to show up. The studio wound up being absolutely packed and we decided on the fly to actually shoot two videos in 24 hours.
The energy in the making of this video was absolutely electric! It all happened so organically and it was just so much fun to shoot and to be a part of. Then we found out that our fans in LA wanted to be involved. Who knew we even had fans in L.A., and we wound up shooting the video in both LA and New York. It was so crazy to be able to have the video be bi-coastal. We had fans donating not only their time, but different props to be in the music video. One of our fans even donated her convertible! It's ironic how the video wound up being exactly what we wanted the song to be about. I'm So Pretty is meant to be an anthem for people to celebrate who they are and that's what the fans ultimately gave us in the making of the video.
The track is a catchy pop ditty sure to get toes tapping and hands clapping, making it perfect for the live shows at which the band are regularly winning over new fans.
Their EP is available now on itunes.
