Rachael Sage encourages fans to never give up their dreams behind the scenes on her latest music video shoot...
New York songstress Rachael Sage has been inspired by the power of music and dance from a young age. Her passion has driven her to pursue a career in music, and she has stayed closely interwoven with the dance world from the very beginning. A gifted vocalist and songwriter, over the years, Sage has had more than a dozen of her songs featured on Dance Moms and has remained a fixture in both dance and music.
This year, the talented songstress is gearing up to release her album Choreographic on May 20. Heavily inspired by her background in dance, Sage has created an album's worth of inspiring and danceable music that she has described as "ballet pop," including the track "I Don't Believe It."
Sage has described the track as an opportunity for "ixnaying the naysayers" who have ever doubted her drive or her commitment to her dreams. "Every time that you tell me I'm not gonna win, I don't believe it," Rachael Sage sings with the utmost of conviction over a striding production. The track takes on an anthemic quality, as the artist continually bests her naysayers and continues to chase her dreams.
For the project's music video, the songstress has teamed up with another dedicated individual, 11 year old dancer Kaci King. Regardless of her youthful age, King is driven by a similar sense of conviction to Sage and was equally moved by the track. "It's about people always trying to bring you down about your success, and you're just that that 'I don't believe it.'" Kaci explained on set for the video shoot.
With such a powerful and far-reaching message, fans are understandably hungering to learn more about the project. We at PopWrapped are proud to have partnered up with Rachael Sage to bring you an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes of the "I Don't Believe It" video shoot on National Dance Day!
