While many might argue that ‘too many cooks spoil the broth,’ so to speak, eight-piece band The Romantic Era from Pennsylvania are doing their best to prove, once and for all, that a bigger band can indeed make for a better band.

With three vocalists, an emcee, drummer, guitarist, bassist and keyboardist among their ranks, TRE’s EDM/party-pop sound has already earned them plaudits from numerous music magazines and websites, with many comparing them to the likes of Maroon 5 and David Guetta, among others. However, the band have always been determined to be themselves, to produce the music they want, and to delight and entertain their growing fan-base while they’re at it.

PopWrapped are delighted host the online premiere of the video for their latest single “Wasted Love,” and having asked the band about the story behind it, they say:

Have you ever been attracted to someone, something, a memory or anything that feels good yet leaves you hurting in pain? We think everyone has, at some level, experienced this. All of us sure have, and we put those feelings and emotions on to a record. On the surface it's about a toxic love story that like any drug gets you on a good high but then leaves you wasted and in love. We captured this in an eerie conceptual video about the inner struggles a relationship like this can bring, it features a dancing woman as she battles her egos for self-control, represented in other dancers in the form of Love, Lust and Hate
