Extras Reveal The Fun They Had While Filming Magic Mike XXL | Magic Mike XXL

As Magic Mike XXL continues to wage an audience-war against the likes of Jurassic World and Inside Out, five extras in the film have spoken out about what they and the cast got up to on set and needless to say, things got pretty fun and rather saucy!

The film, a sequel to the smash hit Magic Mike, which starred Matthew McConaughey, sees former stripper Mike Lane (Channing Tatum, who himself is a former stripper) missing his friends and the thrill he got from being on stage. So when they come in search of him on a trip to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina where they're to attend a stripper convention, he can't resist joining in the fun again.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan.com, Sarah Turner Holland, who has already been an extra in The Hunger Games, explained how the cast had a lot of fun on set together, describing Tatum as:

"...kind of a dork. He's kind of a big kid just making silly jokes like he's a teenager or college student."

She added that:

"...Channing and tWitch were up there, determined to get their dance perfect. They didn't leave the stage the whole time. The only time tWitch left was because he actually ripped his pants."

Unsurprisingly, she noted that when it came time for the cast to pull their pants away;

"...it was pandemonium. There was no acting involved at that point. I mean, money was falling from the skies and people were screaming and jumping up and down."

The film has been referred to by some critics as "a shrine to Channing Tatum" but, with audiences (admittedly mostly women) still flooding into theaters, it would seem not many people care about how cheesy the film might be; after all, is anyone really going to complain about getting to look at incredibly hot men for a few hours? I think not!

Have you seen the film? What did you think? Get involved and let us know your thoughts!
