Hollywood royalty is about to invade Quahog, Rhode Island!
TVLine and Digital Spy has confirmed that Golden Globe-winning actress and screen icon Lauren Bacall will lend her voice to Family Guy’s twelfth season.
Bacall will voice Peter (voiced by Seth MacFarlane)’s late mother’s best friend who gets bonds with the Griffin Family patriarch and later gets frisky with Peter. Should Lois be worried?
This marks the first time in three years that Bacall will lend her voice to an animation project as she previously voiced Posche in the animated film Firedog.
The Big Sleep actress joins a growing list of famous voice actors that will visit Quahog this year. Celebrities that will voice characters include Conan O’Brien, Games of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage, the Newsroom’s Jeff Daniels, and Maroon 5 front man and The Voice coach Adam Levine.
This season, Quahog’s beloved family will go on numerous adventures including a trip to Italy, and Peter and Quagmire forming a singing duo. In addition, they will also parody classic films including Gone with the Wind, and Planet of the Apes.
But one big highlight of the season will be the show’s crossover with The Simpsons!
Entertainment Weekly first reported that the two families would meet for the very first time on a future Family Guy episode.
Family Guy will premiere on Sunday, September 29 on FOX.
