A family in Fort Campbell had no choice but to remove their distasteful Halloween display after officials informed the family of the community's concerns.
The display in question (pictured above) consisted of an African American family being hung from a tree outside their Litwin Street residence. To make matters worse, the child in the picture is shown carrying a knife on his back. No one knows for sure if the display was meant to be an act of blatant racism, or if it was just a plain old, spooky Halloween display.
What do you guys think? Was this an act of racism or is the situation being read too deeply?
