Captain America: Civil War Footage Shown At D23

Here’s what fans exclusively saw in the ‘Captain America: Civil War’ trailer that was shown at Disney’s recent D23!

Chris Evans stopped by Disney’s D23 in Anaheim with Anthony Mackie to promote his upcoming film Captain America: Civil War and the fans in attendance got a glimpse at the movie.  The footage showed the fans the first shots of the Avengers fighting each other.  There was a scene in the trailer where Captain America, Falcon, Black Widow and Scarlett Witch are battling against Iron Man and War Machine!  That has to be epic footage and I can’t wait until they release the trailer to all of us!

A speech from new addition William Hurt’s General “Thunderbolt” Ross, seems to be one of the moments that causes a rift.  Ross says that Steve is a hero to some but a vigilante to others.  Other footage would suggest that Tony Stark is on the law abiding side where Steve Rogers is taking things into his own hands.  Which side do we even root for?  How can we just be expected to choose?

It looks like fans will get Frank Grillo’s Crossbones this time around since they teased it at the end of Winter Soldier.  He’ll fight Cap and even try to hurt him emotionally by bringing up Bucky.  But don’t worry fans, Bucky will be fighting alongside his best friend again at some point in Civil War.  Lastly Paul Rudd’s Antman will appear and be grateful Steve allowed him to fight will all of his “super friends.”
