Eminem played to 80,000 fans on August 17th at Slane Castle for his Irish show. Over fifty fans were arrested during his performance.
Reports claim that twenty-two fans were arrested for public order offences. Another thirty-five were arrested for minor drug offences.
Superintendent Michael Devine, however, claims that not all fans were badly behaved.
He said: “The vast majority of fans heeded the advice given in advance of the event which ensured everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience.”
Following violent occurrences during his performance at Phoenix Park in Dublin last year, there were 750 officers on duty as well as extra security.
The forty-year-old rapper played twenty-eight tracks, ending on 8 Mile hit, “Lose Yourself”.
Last week, Eminem released his first single, “Survival”, from his eighth and upcoming album, currently untitled.
The song is featured on the trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The tour will be wrapping up in England over the next week.
