Last season The Voice showcased many an immense talent to be admired. Amongst them, the bespectacled multi-instrumentalist, Will Champlin. He became the show’s last man standing once an amazingly successful “underdog” arc had hit its stride.  While he has seen some flashes of success post-show thanks to the efforts of both himself and his well-loved team of “Champs”, good ol’ Will still hasn’t quite gotten to where he deserves to be yet in terms of radio play.

In response to just how hard it is for an indie artist like Will to get adds on the fickle modern day radio stations of today, Champs have designed an Indiegogo crowd funding campaign for the young entertainer in hopes of receiving the connections that he needs to start receiving radio plays for his latest singles — including the recently released Last Man Standing which both PopWrapped and Yahoo! received rather nicely.

The five dedicated fans running the crowd funding page have stated that their number one goal is to successfully represent tens of thousands of Champs by getting Will the radio play that he arguably deserves. They’re offering a bevy of cool rewards for donating to the cause, including exclusive songs, fan shirts, bracelets, and even the opportunity to have Will produce your own single if you’re willing to dish out the cash – not to mention his Voice-famous suspenders from his blind audition!

Fans are also banding together to nab Will’s father, Bill Champlin of the world-famous band Chicago, an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame via iPetitions.
