A lot of superhero fans have been doubtful regarding the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. Well, 20th Century Fox is moving forward with it anyway and the very first teaser trailer for it has now been unveiled.

The forthcoming Fantastic Four film might be the third one of the franchise, but will serve as a brand-new introduction to the team. Even though the newly released teaser trailer does not reveal much, it does just that. We’re re-introduced to Mr. Fantastic and the rest of his gang, as they get their powers, learn how to use them and join their forces against an old pal, who’s now turned evil. Despite initial doubt for the overall project among Marvel fans, the teaser does look really promising.

Fantastic Four stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Human Torch, Jamie Bell as The Thing, Toby Kebbell as Doom and Reg E. Cathey as Dr. Storm. Director Josh Trank will be taking from a screenplay penned by Simon Kinberg and Jeremy Slater. The film is expected to open in theaters on August 7, 2015.
