When School Chaplain Darryl Robinson sent out a permission slip to the parents of his fifth and sixth graders for a trip to see an Easter play, he probably didn’t expect the response one father had for him.
The youth presentation was intended to teach students the “true meaning of Easter.” However, a printing error left the “I give my child permission” option already checked off on every slip. Not to mention, the graphic design in one corner of the document was a little…odd.
David Thorne, father of Seb Thorne, took it upon himself to email the Chaplain with detailed commentary on both the school’s inability to produce an adequate permission slip, as well as his opinion on the play itself.
It will leave you laughing and raising your eyebrows in equal amounts.
Take a look at the emails here.
