Female Soldier Exposes Fort Hood Prostitution Ring And Rampant Sexual Abuse

Dani Strehle

In recent times, disturbing and repugnant stories have been surfacing about sexual assault running rampant in the United States Armed Forces. This newest piece of information does nothing to help the military rebuild their fractured reputation. A female private stationed at Fort Hood has accused a noncommissioned officer, Gregory McQueen, of facilitating a prostitution ring at the army base. The private, who was granted government immunity as well as anonymity in return for her testimony, stated that during a financially challenging time in her life, McQueen approached her and asked if she would be interested in acting as an "escort" to high-ranking officers and civilians. Or, as the private so eloquently put it: "Basically, it was having sex with higher ranking officers for money." Always the savvy business man, McQueen wanted to sample the goods that he would be selling. He had sex with the private and took nude photos of her, asking her to "act out" what she would do for those actually paying for her services. In a disturbing twist of irony, McQueen's job title was Sexual Assault Prevention Officer with III Corps' Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion. Talk about an abuse of power. The accuser's testimony is evidence in a hearing determining whether or not McQueen will face a military court-martial to answer to more than 21 criminal infractions including, but not limited to, adultery, sexual assault, conspiracy and pandering. McQueen is also tied to a previous incident in which Master Sgt. Brad Grimes was found guilty for conspiring to patronize a prostitute, and solicitation to commit adultery. Grimes paid $100 to have sex with a solider, and the sordid ordeal was arranged by McQueen. More witnesses are anticipated to not only come forward, but testify as well, including a separate female private claiming that McQueen not only tried to bring her into the prostitution ring, but sexually assaulted her as well. With the popularity and power of #YesAllWomen and all of these terrible military allegations coming to light, maybe these men will actually start to realize that women are not sex toys. We've had enough of their belittling and abuse and we'll fight for our rights until we take our last breath. The biggest mistake men continue to make is underestimating us, but soon enough they'll learn that we will not be silenced. Keep Up With PopWrapped On The Web!
