Fifth Harmony Hits The Right Stride With ‘7/27’

Fifth Harmony debuted their sophomore album titled 7/27 on Friday, May 27th and it is an excellent piece of art. The ladies:  Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Dinah-Jane Hansen, and Normani Hamilton, hit all the right notes on their second studio album. They have songs about love, sex, fun and living the good life. Let’s break it down.

The ladies debuted their lead single earlier this year titled ‘Work From Home’ and it was an instant hit with some, and one of those that others had to hear a few times but eventually it was a pop anthem. How could it not be with that catchy chorus? Next up is their single ‘This Life’ which is catchy, hot and fun! It is about living it up and having the best things in life. The ladies are just enjoying themselves as they belt out this summer jam.

The highest notes of the album come from the middle tracks. Our favorites are: ‘Write On Me’, ‘No Way’, ‘Flex’, ‘Squeeze’ and ‘Dope’. ‘Write On Me’ is a love song/ballad and even though there is no new Earth-shattering message, it’s a good track with good lyrics and outstanding vocals. ‘No Way’ closes the album on a strong note, it is an amazing track that we don’t even want to spoil for you, so go take a listen. ‘Flex’ is a sexy song about feeling someone “on and under” them; it is the definition of mood music. Finally, ‘Dope’ is a seductive track that shows just how fearless these ladies are.

The whole album is strong but we wanted to highlight the ones we enjoyed the most. Go on iTunes, Amazon, or Spotify and listen for yourselves. It flies by because its such a fun ride from beginning to end. Let us know which songs you liked the most and tweet them to us! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Way to go, ladies!
