Hold on to your hats, Fifty Shades fans!
The team working on the upcoming film adaptation of the first book Fifty Shades Of Grey has found their Anastasia Steele!
Author of the trilogy, E. L. James, also known as Erika Leonard, tweeted today to welcome Dakota Johnson to the project as Anastasia.
Johnson, the daughter of celebrated actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, has previously appeared in The Social Network, 21 Jump Street and The Five-Year Engagement, however this promises to be her biggest role to date.
Anastasia Steele is the female protagonist of the Fifty Shades trilogy, and love interest of the lead male character Christian Grey.
So now the question on everyone’s lips is who will star opposite Dakota as Christian Grey? Let us know who you want to see take on the role!
Fifty Shades Of Grey is due out in cinemas August 1, 2014.
