The New Fifty Shades Of Grey Trailer Is The Stuff Fantasies Are Made Of

The new Fifty Shades of Grey trailer premiered last night during Scandal, and it nearly overshadowed the sexy show.

Who’s ready for a little sex with breakfast? Okay, a lot of sex with breakfast.

The new Fifty Shades of Grey trailer premiered last night during Scandal, and it nearly overshadowed the sexy show. Nah, I’m just playing, but seriously, it was pretty good.

Strictly speaking, this trailer wasn’t terribly different from the first trailer that was released in July. We get to see some more sexiness happening and a whole lot of half-naked Jamie Dornan; and how could anyone ask for more than that, really?

In all honestly, Dornan is hot enough to numb the pain that is the actual storyline of this mom-porn. And while I have no familiarity with Dakota Johnson, like, at all; I feel as though she was a good choice for Ana. Though, considering that I think she was the worst literary female character written in 100 years, I’m not sure that’s a compliment.

But perhaps the best part, after the glory that is Jamie Dornan, is Beyonce’s “Haunted” in the background. The song fits what’s happening beautifully, and, it’s Beyonce…so there’s that. While I don’t love that she’s associated with this franchise, I’m never one to turn down any new material from Queen Bey; so we’ll call that a silver lining.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. Do you think that good casting can save this franchise, or is it simply too far gone?
