Firefly fans get excited! You will be happy to hear that Sean Maher will be joining the cast of Arrow.

Maher follows in the footsteps of fellow Firefly and Serenity alum, Summer Glau who was also cast in a role on the hit CW series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Maher will play the villain Mark Scheffer in the tenth episode of this season.

“Scheffer is better known as the supervillain Shrapnel in the original DC Comics, a bomber who terrorises Starling City and threatens Sebastian Blood (Kevin Alejandro),” according to Digital Spy.

Arrow airs on Wednesdays at 8pm on The CW in the US and Mondays at 8pm on Sky1 in the UK.
