Bridget Jones fans, prepare yourselves because Universal UK has released the first image of Renée Zellweger back as our diary-writing queen! Now, we’ll have to wait until September of 2016 for Bridget Jones’ Baby, but we officially know that production has started! What else do we know? Colin Firth will be back as Mr. Darcy (not that one), and Patrick Dempsey (McDreamy, himself) will be joining the cast. Universal Pictures UK recently released a tweet and photo to mark the beginning of filming:

We’re less than a year away from the third installment to a series I currently re-watch constantly. I, for one, am most excited to see Colin Firth as his dashing self once more. He is so unbearably charming. Too bad Hugh Grant didn’t want to play. Oh well, I can’t wait. Bring on more Bridget Jones!
