First Look At Michael Fassbender In Steve Jobs Biopic | Steve Jobs

After numerous directors, studio, and cast changes, the first trailer for the upcoming film, Steve Jobs, based on the book of the same name by Walter Isaacson, which details the  impressive career of Apple co-founder, has finally been released.

Rumoured actors who auditioned for the lead role, now portrayed by Shame's Michael Fassbender, included Bradley Cooper, Matt Damon, and Christian Bale.  Fassbender, who underwent an unbelievable transformation for the role, will share the screen with Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, and Seth Rogen.

The film, directed by Slumdog Millionaire's Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle, is made up of three half-hour long scenes which detail the many products Jobs helped create and provide great insights into the lives, both personal and professional, of a truly gifted man.

Jobs died of cancer in 2011, having been diagnosed with the pancreatic form of the disease in 2004.  His death saw tributes pour in from all corners of the world and from individuals from all professions. President Barack Obama said upon hearing of his death:

"Steve was among the greatest of American innovators - brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it."

The highly anticipated film will be released on October 9th.
