The world is getting ready to see Darren Criss as the Music Meister in a The Flash/Supergirl musical crossover.

In the two night musical crossover event, Darren Criss will be making his DC comics debut as the villain who makes everyone break out into song.

The basis of the crossover is that Barry (Grant Gustin) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) get thrown into an alternate reality by the Music Meister in which life is one big musical. The only way they can get out is to follow Music Meister’s script exactly as planned.

Musicals are nothing new for Criss, Gustin or Benoist as all three were on FOX’s hit TV Series Glee. In addition to Glee, Criss has been on Broadway in shows such as Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and How To Succeed In Business Without Even Trying, Gustin has been seen in West Side Story along with doing a lot of musical theater in his years.

Other cast members from both shows including Jeremy Jordan (Newsies) and Jessie L. Martin (RENT) will also strut their stuff in the episode as well.

The episode will feature some original songs from Oscar-Winning La La Land duo Benji Pasek and Justin Paul as well as Rachel Bloom of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The addition of multiple song covers is sure to give fans a great time watching.
