Flo Rida has been known for providing clubbers with urban bangers every now and then over the years, along with his occasional EDM-infused tunes. This time around he’s coming back and trying something different with his latest single, “Once In A Lifetime”, which now has a music video to go by.
“Once In A Lifetime” finds the rapper getting more intimate and celebrating love in a big way. The flow stays right in place and the track is really catchy, with him providing his regular verses in between Chipmunk-like autotuned chorus hooks. The accompanying clip was shot in Miami, during the casual parade that takes place on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Lots of pals following Flo Rida, lots of stops to take photos with fans and all kinds of fancy vehicles pretty much make the clip the enjoyable spectacle that is is. A celebration of love indeed.
The rapper is currently preparing to release his upcoming, EP kind of album, My House. According to Flo Rida himself, the 7-track record finds him getting more personal with his music and “Once In A Lifetime” is the very first offering to be lifted from it. The set is expected to come out on April 7 and includes collaborations with the likes of Chris Brown and Robin Thicke among others.
