Rockers the Foo Fighters take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to the next level by re-enacting the iconic movie "Carrie."

Lately we have been seeing a ton of videos of celebrities doing the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’. Wherein they take a video of themselves , getting soaked with a bucket full of ice and water to raise funds for ALS research.

Most of it is pretty standard. Just a celebrity standing there , saying the name of the person who challenged them, then in comes the ice, and in between shivers they utter the name of the three people they challenge in return.

But that is not good enough for Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters. They have decided to take it up a notch.

Challenged by the Zac Brown Band, who also took a creative turn by using a firetruck the Foo Fighters chose to make a movie out of it and created a parody of the iconic prom scene from the 1976 film Carrie. Dave Grohl of course took the role of the title character , and was drenched by ice water instead of pig’s blood. He then went on to challenge Jack Black, one of the stars of Carrie, John Travolta, and the author of the book from which the movie was based on, Stephen King.
