Former Journey Front Man Steve Perry Performs Live For The First Time In Almost 20 Years

Remember all those rumors circulating about Steve Perry’s voice being shot?

HA!

Steve Perry hasn’t performed on stage in just under 20 years, but that all changed the other night when he made a surprise appearance with the Eels at their St. Paul, Minnesota show.

The roughly 1,000 of those in attendance were thrilled when Perry took the stage and performed the Eels’ hit “It’s A Motherfucker.” But it was what came next that really got them going: Perry performed two classic Journey songs!!

Perry belted out “Open Arms” and “Lovin’ Touchin’ Squeezin’” and his voice hasn’t changed at all!
