Staff Writer @chrissyyydeeeFormer Australia's Got Talent judge, Brian McFadden, has spoken about his experiences with "intense" One Direction fans. Last year, the Westlife singer predicted Niall Horan would be the first band member to leave One Direction. Directioners did not take that well, and began sending the singer death threats. "Obviously they weren't happy that I was insinuating that he was gonna leave the band and started panicking," said McFadden, speaking to Digital Spy. He also commented on the differences between 1D fans and fans of Westlife: "Westlife fans weren't as bad. I think the 1D fans can be intense. I think our fans are a little bit more laid back." One Direction fans are known for being defensive and jealous, especially to females that are romantically linked to the guys. The former Westlife singer is a host of Channel 5's brand new show Stand By Your Man. He is also preparing to make a rare stage appearance alongside Jason Donovan and British X Factor stars Shayne Ward and Joseph Whelan in the War of the Worlds musical tour.
