Fraggle Rock is returning to the airwaves!

If you’re a fan of the Jim Henson children’s show which featured Muppet creatures called Fraggles, then start dancing. The carefree Fraggles lived in caves alongside the hardworking Doozers and gigantic Gorgs. Occasionally, they interacted with a silly creatures from outer space (aka humans and a dog).

The series featured a mix of rock, blues, folks, gospel and country music as the various creatures interacted with one another despite their differences. The creatures learned how to embrace their differences while exploring friendship, social conflict, environmental issues and tolerance.

Fraggle Rock originally aired on HBO from 1983 to 1987 for five seasons. All 96 episodes were digitally remastered and will be available for HD streaming on HBO Go, HBO Now and HBO On Demand later this year.

If you’re feeling a void in your TV schedule due to the recent cancellation of The Muppets, make sure to head over to HBO to watch Fraggle Rock for some feel good nostalgia.
