I was never in a fraternity in college, not unless you count that time my best friend and I decided to create one with just the two of us. But since my best friend was a jock , I used to hang out a lot in the weights room with the athletes, which is close enough. And let me tell you this, a lot of weird and funny ideas would come out of all the banter in that place.
Which is what probably happened with Delta Sigma Phi-Beta Mu fraternity when they decided to create a lip dub version of Taylor Swift’s latest single Shake It Off.
The video appears to have been taken with a single shot, no cuts, no editing. Which makes it impressive, because everything is choreographed really well, the lip dub is precise, and the camera sweep smooth. Which makes me thinks that there was probably a film student in the fraternity.
Now, I know what you’re thinking- Hey why are frat boys listening to Taylor Swift? I will let you in on a little secret: college guys do listen to a lot of bubble gum pop. Trust me, I’ve even heard a lot of cheesy love songs play in the varsity gym. Hence this fun video:
What do you think? Are they awesome? Less so? Let us know!
