@BenSuspenderFree Spirits, Fame Seekers and Totally Fabulous…Drag Queens of London premieres this month. We’re thinking Made in Chelsea meets RuPaul’s Drag Race… Drag Queens of London, an eight part reality series following the Queens of the London scene will air April 22. The show will feature on new 24/7 entertainment channel London Live (Sky 117, Virgin 159, Freeview 8 and YouView 8) and on LondonLive.co.uk. Releasing a new promo today we are introduced to Meth and the Familyyy Fierce, who are often found at Camden club night The Meth Lab. The reality show will explore the lives of Meth and fellow drag queens Vicki Vivacious, Baga Chipz, Lady Lloyd, Munroe Bergdorf, Rosie Beaver, Dusty O and Vanity von Glow both in and out of heels. Speaking to London Evening Standard series producer Becky Maynard says we should expect, “Glitzy and glamorous performances but we’ll also learn more about the stories behind the performer as the war paint comes off.” Making the show sound even more addictive she added, “We’ll see them triumph against the odds to forge careers, find love and make their lives as both drag queens and real men in the capital.” Strutting her stuff in the promo Meth certainly deserves her “fierce” title and looks like the UK’s answer to Sharon Needles.
