Full ATX Gilmore Girls Reunion Panel To Be Released!

Good news Gilmore Girls fans! The full reunion panel from ATX Festival will be released!

The good news just keeps coming as the ATX Television Festival confirmed today that the full Gilmore Girls panel that took place over the weekend will be released! EW has already released 48 minutes of the panel, currently streaming on their website, but the fans asked and EW has agreed to release the full panel. EW has also confirmed the full panel will go live on their website Wednesday, June 10th!

EW’s live blog coverage of the panel clocks the event at a full two hours, beginning at 7:40PM and ending at 9:40PM, leaving about 70 minutes on the cutting room floor. That’s a lot of missing gab from Stars Hollow’s finest and those missing moments did not go unnoticed by die-hard fans! But you guys spoke and they listened!

There are some things that will remain unseen if you didn’t actually attend the panel. According to a post on the ATX Festival Facebook page, the full version will not include the tribute to Edward Herrmann due to rights restrictions on the clips from the show that were used during the tribute. Hermann, who played Richard Gilmore, succumbed to cancer on December 31st of last year and is deeply missed. Series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said of Hermann, “I’m so grateful I got to hear him say my words. He was a drinking, loving, knew everything in the world… he was our Mr. President.”

So, there you have it Gilmore Girls fans – and you didn’t even have to brave the Austin, Texas heat!
