The highly anticipated English-dub trailer for Season 2 of Free! Eternal Summer has finally arrived and has me even more excited for the popular sports anime’s September 29th DVD release date. Funimation also exclusively streamed the entire first dubbed episode on their website, but this treat was only made available to All Access Pass holders. We  can only hope Funimation will be premiering the dub at this year’s Anime Expo, which is just days away.

Jerry Jewell is the series ADR Director and J. Michael Tatum was in charge of adapting the original scripts; both are also voicing two characters in Free! Eternal Summer.

The English dub-cast includes:

  • Todd Haberkorn as Haruka Nanase

  • Johnny Yong Bosch as Makoto Tachibana

  • Greg Ayres as Nagisa Hazuki

  • Michael Tatum as Rei Ryugazaki

  • Jamie Marchi as Gou Matsuoka

  • Vic Mignogna as Rin Matsuoka

  • Ian Sinclair as Sosuke Yamazaki

  • Josh Grelle as Aiichiro Nitori

  • Jerry Jewell as Momotaro Mikoshiba

  • Robert McCollum as Seijiro Mikoshiba

  • Caitlin Glass as Miho Amakata

  • Christopher Sabat as Goro Sasabe

  • Micah Solusod as Kazuteru Minami

  • Clifford Chapin as Takuya Uozumi

As of right now, Funimation does not have rights to Free! Season 1 and Discotek recently released the first season of Free! on DVD with English subtitles, so the chances of Funimation dubbing the first season remain slim, unfortunately.

Check out the trailer for Free! Eternal Summer down below and let us know what you think of the dub in the comments down below!
