Gal Gadot Signs A Three Movie Wonder Woman Deal

Gal Gadot, previously known for her role in The Fast & The Furious series, has revealed that she has signed three-film contract with Warner Bros.  It was previously announced that Gadot will play the iconic superhero Wonder Woman in their upcoming Superman vs. Batman Man of Steel sequel.  We can also now expect two future films starring Gadot as the superhero.

Work will reportedly begin for the film in May.  The Michigan Film Office confirmed Wednesday that most of the film, which will also star Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, will be shot in southeast Michigan.

Although the news does not confirm a solo Wonder Woman film, Gadot seems excited to make the new role her own. “I represent the Wonder Woman of the new world,” she said to in a interview with Good Evening with Gai Pines. Gadot is currently undergoing an intense training routine that includes kickboxing, kung fu, and jujitsu to prepare for the role.

Ever since Lynda Carter played the iconic role in the famous TV series back in the 1970s, no actress has successfully been able to step into Wonder Woman’s bright red boots. Carter is ready for a new see a new actress take on classic role which made her career. “I wish her well,” Carter said in a recent interview, “I’m just glad she’s going to be out there again. Maybe she’ll get her own show again.”

The yet-to-be-named Superman vs Batman movie is now scheduled for release in May of 2016
