Fans of  ‘Galaxy Quest’ the 1999 sci-fi comedy, “Never give up and never surrender,” because it’s coming back!  Paramount is working with Amazon to bring a reboot of the movie back as a series.  

The film was about the cast of a sci-fi show who gets abducted by aliens who think the cast can save them.  The aliens treated the show as history and think the crew led by Tim Allen (as a very convincing Captain Kirk type), Sigourney Weaver, Tony Shaloub and Alan Rickman.  If Amazon and Paramount can get that cast back for this, it would be amazing!  Dean Parisot, who directed the film, will both executive produce and direct the new series.  And  Robert Gordon who co-wrote the original script will be back to write and executive produce.  Will the crew get abducted again?  Will they be filming their show again like a show inside a show?  We don’t know much yet,  but I know I’m excited about the endless potential, how about you?
