HBO's phenomenon, Game Of Thrones, is no stranger to illegal downloading and has once again been named the most pirated show in the past couple of years. Well, if we judge from recent showings, that habit does not seem to be stopping any time soon.

A new report from Semetric, an online media activity-tracking company, suggests that the show is currently being downloaded illegally 300,000 times on a daily basis, and that's two months after the finale of its fourth season . If that number does not tell you much, hear this: downloads brought to BitTorrent by the series, make for half of the overall downloaded television programs, while also surpassing all type of music downloads.

The company's research went further as to show that other trending media among the show's fans included Ender's GameAnchorman 2: The Legend Continues and Knights of Badassdom, while VikingsBlack SailsArcher and The Walking Dead were suggested as different television series of their preference. However, movies still hold the title of the most pirated media, holding 40% of the daily downloads; TV shows come second with 29%, leaving computer games and eBooks behind with 14% and 5% respectively.

Game Of Thrones has become one of the most popular television series at this point, and as its hype continues to grow, it seems likely that the rates of its illegal downloads will keep on rising.
