Get Ready To Party With Mac Gollehon & The Hispanic Mechanics

Mac Gollehon & The Hispanic Mechanics have released their self-titled album — one filled with anthem-like tracks and sure get your summer started.

The True Groove Records label has made it their mission to send out as much great music as they possibly can, and that music comes in all shapes, forms, and genres. Offering us the Latin EDM-based, self-titled album, from Mac Gollehon & The Hispanic Mechanics, True Groove Records has yet another hit on their hands. Like a true ray of tropical sunshine, Mac Gollehon & The Hispanic Mechanics have brought the party to their listeners.

Opening with their current single entitled “No More Drama”, this anthem-like track makes you want to join in the revolution immediately. Layers of funk sounds played over a steady EDM beat, are exactly what the socially aware doctor ordered. The track is a true sonic journey, with large samples, beautiful trumpet playing, and if there is any critique it might be for the strange choice in vocal effects near the end.

“Elegancia” is one of the true star songs on the album, made even sweeter by the smooth addition of the very respected Tomás Doncker. This track, like almost all of the songs that Mr. Doncker has worked on, is socially aware and intends on driving a serious message home. Mac Gollehon pulls out all the stops on this track and showcases the versatile talent that he possesses. No doubt this will be the potential next choice for the next single to be released.

The final track on the inspired and beautiful album is entitled “If Time Allows”, it is an interesting song that sounds a bit melancholic, but also a bit devious. Starting out pleasantly enough, the song soon adds in computer type sounds that warp their way in and buzz their way out, and most likely this will turn a few people away from finishing the track.

The album as a whole is both creatively and masterfully produced. The guests chosen to help fill this album out were the right artists to have, and for many listeners this is going to be a real gem of a find. If you like salsa music, EDM, trumpets, and music that brightens your day, then look no further than what Mac Gollehon & The Hispanic Mechanics have brought us.
