Britney Spears fans, take a deep breath. We are finally going to see the music video behind “Work Bitch.”  Everyone from her fans to her haters is going to be waiting with baited breath to see what Miss Spears has been up to for all this time. This Tuesday, October 1st, on the CW network, we will finally get to see if Britney is truly back! The CW is giving “Work Bitch” it’s very first play; the question is, who all is tuning in? Britney herself piqued everyone’s curiosity by teasing her instagram followers with a short preview of the music video. She showed the whole world that this video has potential to be a steamy one. What the instagram video shows is Britney showcasing her moves in the desert - talk about hot, pun intended. This video, from what we are able to see so far, does not lack the normal sex appeal characteristic of a Britney video. The “Pop Princess”  is trying to prove that she still has what it takes to overtake the newer powerhouses in pop such as Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, and take her rightful spot back on top of the charts - which will be no easy task since those two both recently released albums and are doing quite well. For this video, Spears went back to her “Scream and Shout” director Ben Mor, who has promised that we are going to see some of the old Britney. This comes with a collective sigh from people around the world, because let’s be honest: we miss the old Britney (pre head shaving incident). When Britney’s on her game she makes some catchy music. Whether you’re a fan of Britney or not, when her songs come on the radio, you can’t help but turn up the volume, and dance like no one’s watching. People everywhere know “Hit Me Baby One More Time” and “Gimme More.” I think that it is safe to say that as long as Britney keeps up the hard work, “Work Bitch” will be unforgettable. Fans everywhere are anxiously awaiting her next album, but until then we will countdown until Tuesday to see her new video in its entirety.
