It seems that Jurassic Park 4 will once again have us returning to the island of Isla Nublar in the new film, and there will be dinosaurs that can breathe under water! That my friends, is what I like to call dino BS. If dinosaurs had been capable of breathing underwater, things may have turned out differently, I think. The film will be shot in 3D, which makes it the first film to actually use this format of filming. and is expected to be released in 2015, which seems like an awfully long time from now.
JoBlo had stated that the sequel will show John Hammond’s original vision of the theme park fully realized. One can only hope it turns out better than the last time. The resort has turned into another version of Sea World, leaving the dinos like the T-Rex & Velociraptors being kept muzzled, and some strange creature that can breathe underwater jumps out to eat a shark.
A dinosaur that has not been seen in the previous films will be the main threat in the new film, as it will break free and begin reeking havoc all over the park. Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, the writers behind Rise Of The Plant Of The Apes, have written the script for Jurassic Park 4. Sam Neil stated recently that his character Dr. Alan Grant would not appear in this film, and he described this film as “A big reboot, a total rejig of the series.”
So, how do you all feel about this upcoming film? I’m personally on the fence, but I may be able to be convinced to see it.
