Who you gonna call?  GHOSTBUSTERS!!!

That's right!  With the upcoming release of the brand new Paul Feig-directed, all-female Ghostbusters reboot, it was just a matter of time before pop culture vinyl figure company Funko announced a line of figures based on the film.  And here they are.

This first series will consist of seven figures from the movie, including the four main characters, Erin Gilbert (played by Kristen Wiig), Patty Tolan (played by Leslie Jones), Abby Yates (played by Melissa McCarthy), and Jillian Holtzmann (players by Kate McKinnon), the team's resident secretary Kevin (played by Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth), the ghost of Gertrude Eldridge (the one that spits slime on Wiig’s character in the trailer), and the villain of the film, Rowan’s Ghost, who looks very much like the classic specter from the Ghostbusters logo.  Check out all the figures in the gallery below.

Last July, Nerdist reported that Neil Casey had been cast as the villain in the film, Rowan, with no other details available.  So now, with the reveal of of his (odd-looking) ghost being in the film, it raises even more questions, one of which being "Why does his ghost not look like any of the ghosts we've seen in the trailer?"  This seems like an odd choice for a ghost, but hey, you never know.  He could be the equivalent of this film's Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

The figures will be available this June, just one month before the release of the film, which hits theaters on July 15, 2016.

Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, as paranormal researcher (Melissa McCarthy), a physicist (Kristen Wiig), a nuclear engineer (Kate McKinnon) and a subway worker (Leslie Jones) try to rid New York of ghosts that can possess humans.  This summer, they're here to save the world!
