Welcome back, my fellow Gleeks!

Earlier, we teased a bit about what lies ahead for this season’s third episode.

We have already revealed two songs from the third episode. Today, we have more news about the third episode.

As previously reported, Glee's third episode will be a “beautiful and fitting tribute” to the late Cory Monteith and his character Finn Hudson.

The show is doing so by choosing some truly wonderful songs about love, life, and friendship. Today, we will be revealing the first of the songs chosen in dedication as the show embarks on one of its most important episodes to date.

For this episode, it has been speculated that the cast will be doing some old favorites sung by Finn Hudson over the past few years. Today, we can confirm one of the favorites that will be featured in his tribute.

Warning: There are spoilers past this point. If you do not wish to be spoiled, please stop reading.

”I’ll Stand By You” from the first season of Glee, sung originally by Finn will be one of the songs featured in the tribute. The song was featured in the episode “Ballad” as one of Finn’s solos. The original version of the song is by The Pretenders.

Check out Finn’s performance below:

The song is a power ballad that pledges love and faithful assistance in times of personal darkness. It’s safe to say that the show has chosen well by including this song as part of the wonderful tribute in store.

As a reminder, all proceeds from the episode’s songs will be donated to a charity set up in memory of Monteith.

And just to reiterate, we at PopWrapped decided to share song spoilers for this tribute episode with you guys because we saw how many of you wanted the opportunity to prepare yourselves emotionally before it aired.

We hope that nobody takes offense to these spoilers as we understand that not all Gleeks want to be spoiled given the circumstances but at the same time we respect those who do.

Our love and condolences go out to everyone, including the Glee cast and crew.
