It’s finally February and Gleeks all around are getting ready for the next batch of episodes that are bound to make us all smile and cry all at the same time. Let’s see what we know so far about the next few episodes! Episode 9: “Frenemies” – In this episode we find ourselves back in both Lima and New York, but not everything is as happy as it seems. Over in Lima, Tina and Artie are competing against each other to get class valedictorian. While over on the New York side, Santana auditions and snags the role as Rachel’s understudy in Funny Girl. causing some tension between the two. Episode 10: “Trio” – Rachel and Elliot will have an ‘exciting’ story line and will start a friendship in this episode; while Blaine, Sam, and Tina break into McKinley to pull some senior pranks around the school. Both Demi Lovato (Dani) and Adam Lambert will be returning in this episode and they’ll sing “The Happening” by The Supremes, along with Chris Colfer (Kurt), which will definitely be a must-watch performance. Episode 11: “City of Angels” – It’s finally here! It’s Nationals time, and as the episode title implies, the competition will take place in Los Angeles. This episode will be very guest star heavy with Mike O’Malley (Burt Hummel), Romy Rosemont (Carole Hudson-Hummel), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Jayma Mays (Emma), and Nene Leakes (Coach Roz Washington) all coming back to reprise their roles. Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect) will also join them as Jean Baptise, a member of the rival Glee club Throat Explosion, and Marlee Matlin (Switched at Birth) will be portraying herself as one of the Nationals judges. Episode 12: “100” – Glee has set a lot of records in the past and this is just another example. “100” is just that, the 100th episode of Glee and it’s definitely going to be a big one. Sue Sylvester is out to shut down the glee club for good and everyone comes back to say goodbye once last time. This episode will also be a two-parter and, following graduation, the show will move fully to focus on New York. Original cast members coming back include Dianna Agron (Quinn), Heather Morris (Brittany), Mark Salling (Noah Puckerman), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang), and Amber Riley (Mercedes). Also coming back are Kristin Chenoweth (April Rhodes) and Gwyneth Paltrow (Holly Holiday). Chase Crawford will also be joining the cast as a love interest for Quinn. The episode will also include a lot of Quick, Brittana, and a big April vs Sue face-off. The episode will also touch upon Finn’s death. Episode 13: “New Directions” – The second part of the two-parter, the glee club gets cut due to budget cuts and everyone makes a decision as to where they’re going to go. This will also be the graduation episode. All of the guest stars in “100” are returning and many tributes to past songs will also be included. Songs that are to be performed are “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Loser Like Me.” This episode will contain a lot of shockers and see the end of the Lima portion of the show for Season 5.
