Gleeks can rest assured, Glee: The Music Celebrating 100 Episodes, the album version celebrating the 100th episode, has been given a release date and album cover art. With all of the excitement surrounding this episode it is surprising that it has taken this long to get concrete details about the cd to go along with the much anticipated episode.

While the episode has an air date of March 18th, the episode is going to have a two part airing with the second episode “New Directions,” airing March 25th. Who wouldn’t want more celebration goodness? The 100th episode album is also going to be released on March 25th allowing fans to truly enjoy the celebration in its entirety.

As many fans are beyond excited about the 100th episode, they are over the moon about the return of their beloved Quinn (Dianna Agron), Mike (Harry Shum Jr.) Brittany (Heather Morris), Mercedes (Amber Riley), and none other than bad boy Puck (Mark Salling).

While Sue Sylvester has been unmercifully trying to get the New Directions disbanded for, well, five seasons now, it appears that she is finally successful in her attempt. The 100th episode is directly centered on New Directions old and new who come to the choir room to say goodbye to their glee club. Not only do old fan favorites return to Glee, but current favorites such as  Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer), Santana (Naya Rivera), and the ever soulful Artie (Kevin McHale) are a few of the current cast regulars saying farewell to the New Directions.

Fan favorites April Rhodes (Kristen Chenoweth) and Holly Holiday (Gwyneth Paltrow) return to revise their roles once again much to the amusement of Gleeks. New blood the ever handsome Chase Crawford (Quinn’s new man) will make his Glee debut. On a scale from 1-10 I am sure your excitement is about an 11! Lucky for all of the Gleeks out there, Glee FINALLY returns from its winter hiatus, tomorrow February 25th at 8pm.

Make sure you check out the track list for the fantastic Glee: The Music Celebrating 100 Episodes, there are so many songs to get excited for, but make sure you let us know your favorite!! Don’t forget to tune in! This is set to be an episode to remember.
